Impressions is a blended fiber that is smooth and easy to stitch with 

  • 50% silk 50% wool fiber 
  • The manufacturer recommends 1 ply for 18 count canvas, but you may prefer the coverage of 2 plies
  • I use 3 plies for 13/14 count canvas
  • The appearance of the fiber changes slightly based upon the number of plies used
  • The weight of this fiber is similar to that of Gumnuts Poppies but much lighter than that of Silk and Ivory
